We currently have two opportunities available. DCS Programmer and Scada Iconics Engineers. Details for each position are below.

POSITION TITLE: DCS Programmer

Position location: Midland, Texas area

Essential Job Duties:

* Perform as a member of the Automation Technology Group's Automation Services team to set standards for and deploy gas plant DCS and automation systems
* Provide automation project leadership and day-to-day DCS and automation support for Oxy Permian gas plants
* Provide DCS consultation as needed for OXY's worldwide assets

Required Qualifications (list in order of priority):

* 10+ years experience in process control and instrumentation supporting gas plant, oilfield, or similar operations
* Must possess strong team leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Project management experience
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and to lead other team members
* Broad PLC and DCS experience including Emerson DeltaV
* Experience with various HMI products including Iconics & Wonderware
* Possess a broad understanding of SCADA and IT Telecommunications Infrastructure
* Must be willing to travel
* Applicable degree

POSITION TITLE: SCADA ICONICS ENGINEER

Position location: Houston / International rotation

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Develop and define SCADA system applications for Oil and Gas and Water and Wastewater clients. Provide detailed SCADA system software design engineering on various Human Machine Interface (HMI) platforms. Provide detailed SCADA system hardware design engineering in order to package the SCADA solution per the client requirements. Provide resource development to the SCADA group through mentoring/coaching activities.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree (required) in electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering preferred. Minimum 3 years experience in the design and application of industrial SCADA systems. Industry experience in one or more of the market segments listed above is preferred. Professional requiring minimal supervision who combines a strong work ethic, excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to work well in a team-based project execution environment.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledgeable of

• Wonderware – InTouch and ArchestrA Human Machine Interface Software
• Iconics – Genesis 32 Human Machine Interface Software

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Review and insure meeting requirements of client specifications for projects
• Participate in client requirements and design specification meetings
• Insure compliance with industry standards and certifications
• HMI database, screen and reports development
• SCADA system documentation
• Assist with system functional validation/verification
• Supplier interface and coordination with client personnel
• Contribute to development of design templates and standardization efforts
• Contribute to organizational Continuous Process Innovation/Improvement (PI) efforts
• Participate in cross-functional design teams associated with client projects and continuous PI initiatives
• Meet critical project schedule and cost goals for pre-determined areas of responsibility
• Provide field service support, as required during SCADA system commissioning and client personnel training
• International and domestic commissioning assignments
